"Absolutely loved the Prenatal Yoga and Support Series. Highly recommend!"

Why Nervous System Regulation Matters in Labor and Birth

Labor is shaped by the ongoing conversation between the nervous system, breath, movement, and hormonal physiology. When the nervous system experiences relative safety, the body is better able to coordinate uterine contractions, rest between contractions, and the hormonal patterns that support labor progress. When stress responses are activated, people often notice more tension, faster breathing, and greater difficulty accessing familiar labor coping tools.

In Birth Coherence Prenatal Yoga, Movement, and Support, I offer prenatal yoga as a form of nervous system preparation for birth. Through mindful movement, breath awareness, rest, and supportive connection, we practice recognizing stress responses and responding in ways that promote steadiness and adaptability. These skills are directly applicable to labor and birth, supporting labor coping, emotional support in childbirth, and the ability to stay grounded during birth.

This class is designed for pregnant people who want prenatal yoga that integrates birth physiology, nervous system regulation, and practical preparation for labor in a way that feels supportive, informed, and practical.

Join us to build skills that support your body’s capacity to move, rest, and respond with greater ease during birth.
